I've actually found this game through Steam, but regardless of the platform, I absolutely ADORE this game!!! It's so wholesome and the cast were too precious >< !! I ended up replaying multiple times both for the endings and just to reread out of pure enjoyment.
And the friendship ending?? Omg, and just when I thought I couldn't love this game even more!! It really makes me happy that despite the dark experiences these characters go through, that they'll still be able to be happy with Aya at the end (and while I do enjoy some good romances here and there, as an aroace, this just sends me to the moon and back!!!)

aaa, i really love this game! it's very wholesome and amazing, i would recommend 11/10! i have a few minor issues about the game, but otherwise, it's amazing! i don't mean any harm writing this, i just want to give some of my opinions on the issues i have with the game.
- big spoilers ahead!!! i recommend playing the game before reading further :] -
one thing i found a bit annoying was when miura said aya was like his "goddess" at the end. i feel like aya has too much control over the relationship, because miura worshipping her as a goddess is unhealthy. i think aya should've called out miura about the whole worshipping thing. in a relationship, they should be equal, and it's unhealthy if one person has too much power. it seems like aya to miura is more like a goddess that he praises, and less of a lover.

another issue i have is when haru reveals themself as a boy. haru is a boy but dresses up as a girl. later in the game, haru chooses to dress like a boy instead of a girl because they think aya will like them better. it's not a good mindset and shouldn't just be accepted right away. everyone accepts that haru changed themselves. i feel like someone should've said "hey you shouldn't change yourself for someone else", but no one really mentions it. i'm not sure if haru is a boy who likes dressing up as a girl, or transgender, and i think it should've been more clear. i think it would've been nice to promote transgender positivity in haru's route :D

- For Toshio : I'm really sorry you felt uncomfortable with this kind of relationship, but Aya does actually have the power over Toshio (> w <) It's something I wanted to highlight to show that there is sometimes uncommon relationship (and I couln't see too much as the characters are still minors and new to their mutual feelings in the game) which is the case for Toshio and Aya. If you noticed, Aya feel a bit uncomfortable at first because she also find it weird, but she comes to accept it and play along because she genuinely love Toshio and want to try showing it to him by going with his uncommon way of seeing love (é o è) As for Toshio, he does like being treated this way in certain circunstances, but he also knows that Aya isn't really considering herself as superior, they both really dearly love, respect and care for each other ~
- For Haru : I did receive feedback saying the same things as you do (on Steam), and trsut me I was the first being shocked and sorry about the misunderstanding. While writing Haru, I didn't have him in mind as a transgender character, but genuinely as a character with insecurities toward mostly two matters : 1) Becoming a toxic adult man like those he always have known since his birth 2) Being insecure about his small body for a boy his age and the fact he is androgyneous. In this regards, he does feel more comfortable dressing with girls clothes as a camouflage, not because he actually want to be a girl (he does say so himself, that he doesn't feel the need to change sex or that he doesn't especially feel like he wants to be a girl).
As for people not saying he shouldn't change for others/for Aya because Haru thought Aya would like him as a boy, even though nobody explicitely say he should change for himself, Aya does say she would have loved him no matter what or who he is.

Toshio did propose to her, but it wasn't for a wedding. More like a "promise" than anything else, a bit like "promise to stay loyal to each other" until Toshio comes back. And maybe once they are adults and reunited, they would get married ~ I hope it answer your question (> w <)

I totally loved playing this game. Got attached the first time I played and picked Ryu's route because I like tea (lol I sadly didn't see the suggested route order). At first, I was so confused, but it makes a lot more sense now I've been following the route guides!
Not gonna lie, I literally cried when Ikki and Aya met each other again at the ending of the route after him avoiding her and stuff. I felt so bad for Aya.
I love the way it's still a cute game with happy endings, even though there are some heavy topics.
And I was sad I didn't find any fanfics about this game. Well, I might have to start writing them myself then.

This is truly one of the best otomes game that I have had the pleasure of playing, and the fact that it's also free?? Outstanding! I played every 'sweet ending' route, and each one was refreshing, nothing felt repetitive. And as I played through it the way that you suggested in the description, I really got to experience the universe that you created, there are so many easter eggs and foreshadowing, it's fun to look back on and go 'ooooh, that's why x and y happened'.
The characters are enjoyable, real and emotionally vulnerable teens learning about the world and really going through some hard shit. The protagonist wasn't cheesy or a damsel-in-distress, and I really loved Aya's friend group and the anime club!
I burst into tears at the end of Toshio's route, he was just such an odd character and I didn't expect him to unravel the way he did in the beginning. Poor guy. My MC will definitely be keeping the ring on for six years!

I really loved this Game! Everyone is just cute! :D *Spoiler* And I it's really fun when something unexpected happens like I was really shocked when we found out about Yuta's secret or when it was revealed that Ryu's personality was fake. And it was also fun when things that were hinted in other routes are revealed like Haru being male or Ichigo and her bf even though we didn't see them together in Toshio's route. I love Ryu! I was kinda disappointed when we found out that the energetic one was fake cus I was looking forward to Ryu, who calls Aya cutie but nevertheless I still love him. I was looking forward to Ryu smiling or blushing.

My favorite character had to be Yuta, which is surprising because I'm really not a fan of the prince archtype but the way his route went was a complete 180 from what I expected. I mean of course there was going to be more to him, prince types typically do have a secret, but I was just not expecting it to go that way.
I'm gonna be honest I think the boobs shirt really did it for me, I thought it was just going show up once but he just kept wearing it in every scene it was just so fucking funny every time, especially since the characters themselves actually kept bringing it up. Never thought I'd appreciate a sexualized shirt but here I am. Other than that I really appreciated his personality, seemed the most chill and like someone you'd actually meet irl. I'd see myself befriending him for real, which is rare because even if I like a character often I feel like if I ever actually met them I'd be kind of creeped out.

I just got the two endings for Ryu's route and ahhhh I was very reluctant to start a new route after getting so invested and attached to him. Honestly, I was surprised on how DIFFERENT the friend and sweet routes were from each other? It was like playing a new game in itself with the extra scenes and alternate events to what was in the friend route.
I don't want to spoil anything, but Ryu's route was so strong as a start so now I'm wondering if it might've been for the best to leave his last (but now I'm just too attached so not being able to stick with him in other routes is making me lonely ahah).
This was such an amazing game! Thank you so much for making it. I hope to see more in the future and I will continue supporting from this point on!

I absolutely loved all the routes, but especially Ikki's and Ryuu's.
First of all, I expected Ikki's route to be completely different from what it actually was. Turn's out he's a big softie. Don't even get me started on his sister. For real, she's an angel and super cute. Honestly, his route kinda made me want to cry. I'm too emotional.
Overall, Ikki's route was pure cuteness and wholesomeness.
Unto Ryuu's route.
Like, Ikki's, this route was way different then what I had expected. THE PINK, BUBBLY RYUU IS ACTUALLY SO DEPRESSED, IT KINDA HURTS. What hurt me even more was the fact that I could kinda relate to his constant sadness. I had expected his route to be all bubbly and happy but it took a turn. And Ryuu's character is so much more complicated than I expected.
I just loved his route so much. I enjoyed playing it.
Finally can we just talk about Aya. At first, I wasn't too sure if I liked her or not, but after playing Toshio's route (Can I just say, his route ALSO made me tear up, frl his route was also amazing.), I'd dump any of them for Aya. I love how she stands her ground and doesn't take sh*t from anyone.
To conclude, this game was amazing, the characters are amazing, the plot for each route, the art, ITS JUST AMAZING.

I took a break and now I have words. And man, the music. The writing. The MUSIC. It was all just so beautiful. The song in Ikki's route was breath-taking. I can't remember the last time I just sat back and listened to the music in a game all the way to the end. Also, I think that this was the first otome game to ever almost make me cry. At the end of Ikki's route my eyes started getting blurry ;; My heart was clenching and, and, and AHhHHH!! You know?? It was all just written so well! I loved how Aya wasn't a doormat protagonist, and stood her ground.
There's so much more to talk about and say, but this isn't an essay haha.
All in all, I really loved the writing and music in this game. I loved it so much, and I don't know if you're making more games, but if you do you can bet I'll play them! Thank you for this game and experience! <3

At first I kind of thought Aya wasn't my type of character MC but in the end I liked her a lot. I loved her personality and the way she gets to know the people who peaked her interest. It was really fun! I tried Toshio's route first and I was legit tearing up a bit at the ending. Love his character! I didn't think much of him, never hated him but for me I just got used to his attitude easily.
I played Ryu's route on the 2nd playthrough and slowly I was interested in him. I didn't know what to expect when he changed but I didn't mind, it was him and he will still be him. As I got more interested on his real self - I found myself loving him or liking him. And his looks didn't bother me since it just made him look more cute and interesting (to my eyes at least), his personality is also what I loved the most.
For Kenjin. Oh god, this boy. Oh no. VERY CUTE - HANDSOME TOO BUT MOSTLY CUTE, loved how he was so easily flustered on illegal hand-holding, kissing/pecking etc. etc.
Makes me want to cuddle him up but also attack him. He's just so innocent that I love it!! Though I never got his sweet ending no matter how many times I played his route. My heart was literally breaking whenever I got his friend ending - including that he called me just a friend. So yeah..
For Yuta, my lovable handsome prince. Okay, I was honestly shock at how his room is really filled with things. xDD
I did feel uncomfortable seeing it but that'd also go for random boys seeing a girl's room filled with Anime Boys in a sexual pose (maybe?) or outfit. I got over it and was comfortable with how his room looks in the end.
When the bookstore scene played, I thought that'd maybe he'd be fun to tease. Though I was also a bit concerned or weirded out on why he doesn't look like he really is blushing..? He looked the same but I didn't think of it much back then - until now.
In the end, I enjoyed every moment I had with him. Glad that I got his sweet ending because I was really liking him a LOT in that route and I had fun a lot - being with him.
Now for Ikki - he's hot and cute, just like the other characters (DAMN ITTT) .
When playing his route, I enjoyed my time together with him though I was also getting some possible romantic vibes off him for some reason. I also loved how when he smiles and starts being a tsundere sometimes - it's really cute! I love his funny / loveable reactions and I did also start like liking him. BAHAHAHA- I also love his little sister.
Ikki's route really got me nervous then laughing a lot. Same goes for Haru's route - on the anxious / nervous part at least. But again, I enjoyed it.
Last but not least, HARU-kun (or chan). I cannot explain how much I was shocked when Haru decided to be a boy. My reaction was the same as MC - it'll take a while to get used to it (except I got used to it quickly).
I found it cute when he introduced himself, when he smiled and also sometimes being a tsundere in some situations. Also loved his reactions when he was flustered - I'd probably start shipping him with Prince Yuta. Because I think I find them to be a good pair-!
But I enjoyed it anyway, very enjoyed it. Loved the moment a lot but I think I enjoyed it the most when he kissed me, hehe. Made me feel nervous and also flushed when he did do that.
Also loved his blushing face along with Yuta and Ikki when Ryu mentioned something on the track n field thing.
Questions:
About Ryu: So.. can Ryu see colors? I'm still a bit confused about his eyes if he can see in many colors or just in grey scales.
About Kenji's route: I tried his route before many times and I kept getting the Friend ending no matter what choice I make. So now I'm wondering on how I'm gonna get the Sweet ending because I really wanna experience it.
Can anybody tell me how I can get that ending? or do players randomly/luckily get the ending?
About Toshio's route: The same also goes for Toshio - I haven't got or experience his Sweet Ending. So I'm also wondering about how I can experience it just like Kenji.
Also just wanna add that I enjoyed the game a lot and my favorite characters are probably the Potential Love Interests.

For Kenji and Toshio... It's weird that you can't have their Sweet Ending, I didn't have any problems when testing the game and no one else seems to have experienced this issue with these routes. Though, someone on the Discord's server seems to have something similar to your problem, but with Haru's Sweet Route. Unfortunately, I have no clue about why it's randomly not working... Sorry (u___u)

This game is literally so cute and adorable!!!! I was squealing and screaming ( In a good way) the entire time, I played Ikki's route and now I'm pretty sure I have an actual crush on him- Even though he's non-existent :')

Hey, I like your game. The combination of your art style and the slice of life genre really brings your VN together. I find it kinda soothing in a way? It's a nice feeling like relaxing in your bed while sipping on hot cocoa (if that makes sense).

As for an epilogue... unfortunately no, there is no such thing planned in the future. Though ! I'm planning of doing a remake and add more content (such as the characters childhood, a glimpse of their adulthood after the credits, and, potentially, an extra route with one of the side character) and Fujiwara 2 as well, with new characters. Fingers crossed I'll be able to release it someday. You'll have to be patient though, since it will take some time to be done x)
Right now I'm working as the lead director of a new game, called Colors of Fate and which is more mature content than Fujiwara Bittersweet and taking place in a fantasy world.

I'd honestly love to say that I didn't expect to get so attached to each character in the game. I love how Aya is in each route, but how she's a solid well-rounded character too who's had her own share of problems growing up. I didn't mind not being able to choose a name for the MC because I found that throughout playing otome games I prefer for them to have a default name to go with.
LL wise I'd say I honestly loved all routes! I was pleasantly surprised by Haru's route, but I found the way it was written to be great. It's honestly hard for me to pick a favorite because I think each LL had their own quirk about them. Toshio was sad and bittersweet in regards to everything that's happened to him, but I'm glad they were able to develop some sort of stability for him. Ikki was just fun and pretty tsun. Kenji was so naive and innocent but it was fun to see how events transpired for him to mature. I loved Yuta's route just because of the pressure of being someone you're not just to be accepted into society and how the MC is just like "I prefer who you were hiding." Totally loved that. For Ryu's route, I honestly liked it and understood why the play order suggested him last. I don't regret it.
Overall, I found the story in each LL to be interesting. I like how in Ryu's route and Yuta's it hints at Haru and how he shouldn't be hiding who he is either. But it gets really fleshed out in Haru's route when he wasn't even sure who he wants to be either. I loved the game. I'm glad it was free! But honestly, I wouldn't have minded paying for it either. The art style was super cute! I liked the colors.
I think my only complaint was how abruptly each ending was. In particular for Ryu after the final bit he says it just cuts to "SWEET END" I probably yelled like "THAT'S IT!?" But I can't say the experience wasn't fun!

I didn't know how to end it properly ;-; Though, it's on my ToDo list of things to improve for the remake (crossing fingers I'll be able to do it, I really hope so!), alongside with other little things which need to be fixed or added here and there. I hadn't seen much of the promotional material, demos, or anything like that for this particular otome, so I downloaded the game without really any expectations at all. Actually, upon discovery that you couldn't change the protagonist's first name, I almost immediately uninstalled it again right then and there, haha—turns out, I really like to be able to choose the MC's name, which I didn't realize until this instance that this was the case since it's usually an option by default—but I decided to continue and I'm glad I did.
I enjoyed the pacing of each route and that the MC took her time to get to know each person. That each LI had a bit more dimension and you didn't discover what was "unique" about them right away was a breath of fresh air. I especially appreciated that each route wasn't the end-all be-all when it comes to getting to know the characters; most of them were friends or acquaintances with each other, so it makes sense that little tidbits of information about them would be revealed even if they weren't the ones being currently romanced. Sometimes each character feels like their own "island" in otome games; you discover absolutely nothing about them outside of their own route. The fact that this one is different is a great move.
All-in-all, I think that this game was absolutely lovely. The developer clearly put a lot of time and effort into this (free!) game and I'm absolutely so glad that they did. I still think that being able to change the protagonist's name would have been a great addition; I didn't think that her first name being Aya was so integral to the plot that it really needs to be the only choice, and some players (like me, apparently) are really attached to being able to name the characters when we play these kinds of games. At the end of the day though, that sort of decision is up to the developer and doesn't at all detract from what makes this game a pleasant experience. Excellent work! ♡

The one right next on the list also have a set name for the MC and I'm still debating if I should let people choose, because her name actually have something to do with the plot and it wouldn't be accurate anymore if she ends up being called otherwise x)

Here's something I really liked! In every character route there was always a bit more backstory on a different character as well, some people must complain about them 'stealing the show' or 'having too much information even though it isn't their route' but personally I love it! Its like, there's multiple character routes and in every one you get attached to the character you chose. Once your done, you probably get sad, right? But you always get to see and learn more about them as soon as you move onto the next route, while your getting attached to the character in the route you chose at the same time, and it just repeats! Its exciting in my opinion :) (sorry for confusing wording in some sentences haha, hopefully you manage to understand though.)
I also have extremely mixed feelings with Ryu...honestly, I didn't really mind the personality change in fact it just brings out character. But the look change really saddened me, a lot, and I don't really like it, that's just a personal opinion, though~! BUT I fell in love with his personality over looks the farther I got into his route! It really touched me and he didn't even get any less adorable hehe, took a bit to get used to it though!
I'm extremely attached to this game and after I'm done I'm definitely considering playing it a second time just to see all the character development again and get to see the characters I got attached too in action again!
(Oh, and not to mention the art style! I'm obsessed with it!)
The only problem is that I'm super confused about why Ryu burnt down Aya's house in Kenji's route? Its very clear that it was Ryu, they said the suspect had pink hair and Ryu recently then asked where Aya lived. Now I'm just sitting here wondering why Ryu did that and why he'd do such a thing if nothing went on between him and Aya. Although, I do suspect it might've been Ryu's sister! I don't remember her name but I think it ended with 'eko' at the end or something.
Edit: I realized that your making a remake reading some of the comments! Its okay if your gonna save it for then but...will this question eventually be solved? Because I'm dying to hear the answer to it.

There is a canon answer, but I also wanted to keep the players in the doubt because they can actually think whatever they want. If it's really annoying not to know though and that I have more complaints about it, I might consider being more clear about this situation in the remake x)

I've actually found this game through Steam, but regardless of the platform, I absolutely ADORE this game!!! It's so wholesome and the cast were too precious >< !! I ended up replaying multiple times both for the endings and just to reread out of pure enjoyment.
And the friendship ending?? Omg, and just when I thought I couldn't love this game even more!! It really makes me happy that despite the dark experiences these characters go through, that they'll still be able to be happy with Aya at the end (and while I do enjoy some good romances here and there, as an aroace, this just sends me to the moon and back!!!)

aaa, i really love this game! it's very wholesome and amazing, i would recommend 11/10! i have a few minor issues about the game, but otherwise, it's amazing! i don't mean any harm writing this, i just want to give some of my opinions on the issues i have with the game.
- big spoilers ahead!!! i recommend playing the game before reading further :] -
one thing i found a bit annoying was when miura said aya was like his "goddess" at the end. i feel like aya has too much control over the relationship, because miura worshipping her as a goddess is unhealthy. i think aya should've called out miura about the whole worshipping thing. in a relationship, they should be equal, and it's unhealthy if one person has too much power. it seems like aya to miura is more like a goddess that he praises, and less of a lover.

another issue i have is when haru reveals themself as a boy. haru is a boy but dresses up as a girl. later in the game, haru chooses to dress like a boy instead of a girl because they think aya will like them better. it's not a good mindset and shouldn't just be accepted right away. everyone accepts that haru changed themselves. i feel like someone should've said "hey you shouldn't change yourself for someone else", but no one really mentions it. i'm not sure if haru is a boy who likes dressing up as a girl, or transgender, and i think it should've been more clear. i think it would've been nice to promote transgender positivity in haru's route :D

- For Toshio : I'm really sorry you felt uncomfortable with this kind of relationship, but Aya does actually have the power over Toshio (> w <)
It's something I wanted to highlight to show that there is sometimes uncommon relationship (and I couln't see too much as the characters are still minors and new to their mutual feelings in the game) which is the case for Toshio and Aya.
If you noticed, Aya feel a bit uncomfortable at first because she also find it weird, but she comes to accept it and play along because she genuinely love Toshio and want to try showing it to him by going with his uncommon way of seeing love (é o è)
As for Toshio, he does like being treated this way in certain circunstances, but he also knows that Aya isn't really considering herself as superior, they both really dearly love, respect and care for each other ~
- For Haru : I did receive feedback saying the same things as you do (on Steam), and trsut me I was the first being shocked and sorry about the misunderstanding.
While writing Haru, I didn't have him in mind as a transgender character, but genuinely as a character with insecurities toward mostly two matters :
1) Becoming a toxic adult man like those he always have known since his birth
2) Being insecure about his small body for a boy his age and the fact he is androgyneous. In this regards, he does feel more comfortable dressing with girls clothes as a camouflage, not because he actually want to be a girl (he does say so himself, that he doesn't feel the need to change sex or that he doesn't especially feel like he wants to be a girl).
As for people not saying he shouldn't change for others/for Aya because Haru thought Aya would like him as a boy, even though nobody explicitely say he should change for himself, Aya does say she would have loved him no matter what or who he is.

Toshio did propose to her, but it wasn't for a wedding. More like a "promise" than anything else, a bit like "promise to stay loyal to each other" until Toshio comes back. And maybe once they are adults and reunited, they would get married ~

I totally loved playing this game. Got attached the first time I played and picked Ryu's route because I like tea (lol I sadly didn't see the suggested route order). At first, I was so confused, but it makes a lot more sense now I've been following the route guides!
Not gonna lie, I literally cried when Ikki and Aya met each other again at the ending of the route after him avoiding her and stuff. I felt so bad for Aya.
I love the way it's still a cute game with happy endings, even though there are some heavy topics.
And I was sad I didn't find any fanfics about this game. Well, I might have to start writing them myself then.

This is truly one of the best otomes game that I have had the pleasure of playing, and the fact that it's also free?? Outstanding! I played every 'sweet ending' route, and each one was refreshing, nothing felt repetitive. And as I played through it the way that you suggested in the description, I really got to experience the universe that you created, there are so many easter eggs and foreshadowing, it's fun to look back on and go 'ooooh, that's why x and y happened'.
The characters are enjoyable, real and emotionally vulnerable teens learning about the world and really going through some hard shit. The protagonist wasn't cheesy or a damsel-in-distress, and I really loved Aya's friend group and the anime club!
I burst into tears at the end of Toshio's route, he was just such an odd character and I didn't expect him to unravel the way he did in the beginning. Poor guy. My MC will definitely be keeping the ring on for six years!

Yes, other games in the Fujiwara series are planned such as a revamp of the first one (the current one) with updated graphics/a few changes on certains routes/fixes/extras like a CGs gallery and the characters childhood memories (and potentially non-free DLC for additional routes, but I'm still not sure about it) ~
The other games planned are Fujiwara Bittersweet 2 that I hope will be more on the stat raising side, and a fandisc on the current Fujiwara covering moments in the character's everyday life as adults.
It will take some time to put together each games, but I hope you will enjoy them as much as the first one when they will be released (^ O^)/☆
i'll definetly buy any dlcs or fandisks you add, this game is wonderful and definetly deserves it! :D

I really loved this Game! Everyone is just cute! :D *Spoiler* And I it's really fun when something unexpected happens like I was really shocked when we found out about Yuta's secret or when it was revealed that Ryu's personality was fake. And it was also fun when things that were hinted in other routes are revealed like Haru being male or Ichigo and her bf even though we didn't see them together in Toshio's route. I love Ryu! I was kinda disappointed when we found out that the energetic one was fake cus I was looking forward to Ryu, who calls Aya cutie but nevertheless I still love him. I was looking forward to Ryu smiling or blushing.

This is such a cute and sweet game! and much longer than I anticipated, the friend routes were so different to the romantic ones I'm impressed.

My favorite character had to be Yuta, which is surprising because I'm really not a fan of the prince archtype but the way his route went was a complete 180 from what I expected. I mean of course there was going to be more to him, prince types typically do have a secret, but I was just not expecting it to go that way.
I'm gonna be honest I think the boobs shirt really did it for me, I thought it was just going show up once but he just kept wearing it in every scene it was just so fucking funny every time, especially since the characters themselves actually kept bringing it up. Never thought I'd appreciate a sexualized shirt but here I am. Other than that I really appreciated his personality, seemed the most chill and like someone you'd actually meet irl. I'd see myself befriending him for real, which is rare because even if I like a character often I feel like if I ever actually met them I'd be kind of creeped out.

I just got the two endings for Ryu's route and ahhhh I was very reluctant to start a new route after getting so invested and attached to him. Honestly, I was surprised on how DIFFERENT the friend and sweet routes were from each other? It was like playing a new game in itself with the extra scenes and alternate events to what was in the friend route.
I don't want to spoil anything, but Ryu's route was so strong as a start so now I'm wondering if it might've been for the best to leave his last (but now I'm just too attached so not being able to stick with him in other routes is making me lonely ahah).
This was such an amazing game! Thank you so much for making it. I hope to see more in the future and I will continue supporting from this point on!

I absolutely loved all the routes, but especially Ikki's and Ryuu's.
First of all, I expected Ikki's route to be completely different from what it actually was. Turn's out he's a big softie. Don't even get me started on his sister. For real, she's an angel and super cute. Honestly, his route kinda made me want to cry.
I'm too emotional.Overall, Ikki's route was pure cuteness and wholesomeness.
Unto Ryuu's route.
Like, Ikki's, this route was way different then what I had expected. THE PINK, BUBBLY RYUU IS ACTUALLY SO DEPRESSED, IT KINDA HURTS. What hurt me even more was the fact that
I could kinda relate to his constant sadness.I had expected his route to be all bubbly and happy but it took a turn. And Ryuu's character is so much more complicated than I expected.I just loved his route so much. I enjoyed playing it.
Finally can we just talk about Aya. At first, I wasn't too sure if I liked her or not, but after playing Toshio's route (Can I just say, his route ALSO made me tear up, frl his route was also amazing.),
I'd dump any of them for Aya.I love how she stands her ground and doesn't take sh*t from anyone.To conclude, this game was amazing, the characters are amazing, the plot for each route, the art, ITS JUST AMAZING.

I took a break and now I have words. And man, the music. The writing. The MUSIC. It was all just so beautiful. The song in Ikki's route was breath-taking. I can't remember the last time I just sat back and listened to the music in a game all the way to the end. Also, I think that this was the first otome game to ever almost make me cry. At the end of Ikki's route my eyes started getting blurry ;; My heart was clenching and, and, and AHhHHH!! You know?? It was all just written so well! I loved how Aya wasn't a doormat protagonist, and stood her ground.
There's so much more to talk about and say, but this isn't an essay haha.
All in all, I really loved the writing and music in this game. I loved it so much, and I don't know if you're making more games, but if you do you can bet I'll play them! Thank you for this game and experience! <3

At first I kind of thought Aya wasn't my type of character MC but in the end I liked her a lot. I loved her personality and the way she gets to know the people who peaked her interest. It was really fun! I tried Toshio's route first and I was legit tearing up a bit at the ending. Love his character! I didn't think much of him, never hated him but for me I just got used to his attitude easily.
I played Ryu's route on the 2nd playthrough and slowly I was interested in him. I didn't know what to expect when he changed but I didn't mind, it was him and he will still be him. As I got more interested on his real self - I found myself loving him or liking him. And his looks didn't bother me since it just made him look more cute and interesting (to my eyes at least), his personality is also what I loved the most.
For Kenjin. Oh god, this boy. Oh no. VERY CUTE - HANDSOME TOO BUT MOSTLY CUTE, loved how he was so easily flustered on illegal hand-holding, kissing/pecking etc. etc.
Makes me want to cuddle him up but also attack him. He's just so innocent that I love it!! Though I never got his sweet ending no matter how many times I played his route. My heart was literally breaking whenever I got his friend ending - including that he called me just a friend. So yeah..
For Yuta, my lovable handsome prince. Okay, I was honestly shock at how his room is really filled with things. xDD
I did feel uncomfortable seeing it but that'd also go for random boys seeing a girl's room filled with Anime Boys in a sexual pose (maybe?) or outfit. I got over it and was comfortable with how his room looks in the end.
When the bookstore scene played, I thought that'd maybe he'd be fun to tease. Though I was also a bit concerned or weirded out on why he doesn't look like he really is blushing..? He looked the same but I didn't think of it much back then - until now.
In the end, I enjoyed every moment I had with him. Glad that I got his sweet ending because I was really liking him a LOT in that route and I had fun a lot - being with him.
Now for Ikki - he's hot and cute, just like the other characters (DAMN ITTT) .
When playing his route, I enjoyed my time together with him though I was also getting some possible romantic vibes off him for some reason. I also loved how when he smiles and starts being a tsundere sometimes - it's really cute! I love his funny / loveable reactions and I did also start like liking him. BAHAHAHA- I also love his little sister.
Ikki's route really got me nervous then laughing a lot. Same goes for Haru's route - on the anxious / nervous part at least. But again, I enjoyed it.
Last but not least, HARU-kun (or chan). I cannot explain how much I was shocked when Haru decided to be a boy. My reaction was the same as MC - it'll take a while to get used to it (except I got used to it quickly).
I found it cute when he introduced himself, when he smiled and also sometimes being a tsundere in some situations. Also loved his reactions when he was flustered - I'd probably start shipping him with Prince Yuta. Because I think I find them to be a good pair-!
But I enjoyed it anyway, very enjoyed it. Loved the moment a lot but I think I enjoyed it the most when he kissed me, hehe. Made me feel nervous and also flushed when he did do that.
Also loved his blushing face along with Yuta and Ikki when Ryu mentioned something on the track n field thing.
Questions:
About Ryu: So.. can Ryu see colors? I'm still a bit confused about his eyes if he can see in many colors or just in grey scales.
About Kenji's route: I tried his route before many times and I kept getting the Friend ending no matter what choice I make. So now I'm wondering on how I'm gonna get the Sweet ending because I really wanna experience it.
Can anybody tell me how I can get that ending? or do players randomly/luckily get the ending?
About Toshio's route: The same also goes for Toshio - I haven't got or experience his Sweet Ending. So I'm also wondering about how I can experience it just like Kenji.
Also just wanna add that I enjoyed the game a lot and my favorite characters are probably the Potential Love Interests.

For Kenji and Toshio... It's weird that you can't have their Sweet Ending, I didn't have any problems when testing the game and no one else seems to have experienced this issue with these routes.
Though, someone on the Discord's server seems to have something similar to your problem, but with Haru's Sweet Route. Unfortunately, I have no clue about why it's randomly not working... Sorry (u___u)
The let's player Aromie did all the Sweet Routes, so maybe you can watch her videos on the game if you are curious about the ones you missed ? (é o è)

As for an epilogue... unfortunately no, there is no such thing planned in the future. Though ! I'm planning of doing a remake and add more content (such as the characters childhood, a glimpse of their adulthood after the credits, and, potentially, an extra route with one of the side character) and Fujiwara 2 as well, with new characters. Fingers crossed I'll be able to release it someday. You'll have to be patient though, since it will take some time to be done x)

I'd honestly love to say that I didn't expect to get so attached to each character in the game. I love how Aya is in each route, but how she's a solid well-rounded character too who's had her own share of problems growing up. I didn't mind not being able to choose a name for the MC because I found that throughout playing otome games I prefer for them to have a default name to go with.
LL wise I'd say I honestly loved all routes! I was pleasantly surprised by Haru's route, but I found the way it was written to be great. It's honestly hard for me to pick a favorite because I think each LL had their own quirk about them. Toshio was sad and bittersweet in regards to everything that's happened to him, but I'm glad they were able to develop some sort of stability for him. Ikki was just fun and pretty tsun. Kenji was so naive and innocent but it was fun to see how events transpired for him to mature. I loved Yuta's route just because of the pressure of being someone you're not just to be accepted into society and how the MC is just like "I prefer who you were hiding." Totally loved that. For Ryu's route, I honestly liked it and understood why the play order suggested him last. I don't regret it.
Overall, I found the story in each LL to be interesting. I like how in Ryu's route and Yuta's it hints at Haru and how he shouldn't be hiding who he is either. But it gets really fleshed out in Haru's route when he wasn't even sure who he wants to be either. I loved the game. I'm glad it was free! But honestly, I wouldn't have minded paying for it either. The art style was super cute! I liked the colors.
I think my only complaint was how abruptly each ending was. In particular for Ryu after the final bit he says it just cuts to "SWEET END" I probably yelled like "THAT'S IT!?" But I can't say the experience wasn't fun!

I was really pleasantly surprised by this game!
I hadn't seen much of the promotional material, demos, or anything like that for this particular otome, so I downloaded the game without really any expectations at all. Actually, upon discovery that you couldn't change the protagonist's first name, I almost immediately uninstalled it again right then and there, haha—turns out, I really like to be able to choose the MC's name, which I didn't realize until this instance that this was the case since it's usually an option by default—but I decided to continue and I'm glad I did.
I enjoyed the pacing of each route and that the MC took her time to get to know each person. That each LI had a bit more dimension and you didn't discover what was "unique" about them right away was a breath of fresh air. I especially appreciated that each route wasn't the end-all be-all when it comes to getting to know the characters; most of them were friends or acquaintances with each other, so it makes sense that little tidbits of information about them would be revealed even if they weren't the ones being currently romanced. Sometimes each character feels like their own "island" in otome games; you discover absolutely nothing about them outside of their own route. The fact that this one is different is a great move.
All-in-all, I think that this game was absolutely lovely. The developer clearly put a lot of time and effort into this (free!) game and I'm absolutely so glad that they did. I still think that being able to change the protagonist's name would have been a great addition; I didn't think that her first name being Aya was so integral to the plot that it really needs to be the only choice, and some players (
like me, apparently) are really attached to being able to name the characters when we play these kinds of games. At the end of the day though, that sort of decision is up to the developer and doesn't at all detract from what makes this game a pleasant experience. I'm glad you decided to play although it wasn't possible to change the MC's name too ! I know it might be really frustrating for a lot of people not being able to choose their own name and I apologize in advance because I planned to have a set name for the next title(s) of the Fujiwara series, BUT I also plan to let people choose how they want to be called in all the future projects which aren't related to this series (^ o^)/
Or rather, almost all the future projects. The one right next on the list also have a set name for the MC and I'm still debating if I should let people choose, because her name actually have something to do with the plot and it wouldn't be accurate anymore if she ends up being called otherwise x)

And it ended with us asking questions like are we gonna see him again or do we move on, so that's why I asked if he can get his own game

BUT ! I plan to make extras for each characters in the remake, when I'll release it. Something like a tiny sneak peek of how is their life years later when they are adults, after the Sweet Route's credits ~

Here's something I really liked! In every character route there was always a bit more backstory on a different character as well, some people must complain about them 'stealing the show' or 'having too much information even though it isn't their route' but personally I love it! Its like, there's multiple character routes and in every one you get attached to the character you chose. Once your done, you probably get sad, right? But you always get to see and learn more about them as soon as you move onto the next route, while your getting attached to the character in the route you chose at the same time, and it just repeats! Its exciting in my opinion :) (sorry for confusing wording in some sentences haha, hopefully you manage to understand though.)
I also have extremely mixed feelings with Ryu...honestly, I didn't really mind the personality change in fact it just brings out character. But the look change really saddened me, a lot, and I don't really like it, that's just a personal opinion, though~! BUT I fell in love with his personality over looks the farther I got into his route! It really touched me and he didn't even get any less adorable hehe, took a bit to get used to it though!
I'm extremely attached to this game and after I'm done I'm definitely considering playing it a second time just to see all the character development again and get to see the characters I got attached too in action again!
(Oh, and not to mention the art style! I'm obsessed with it!)
The only problem is that I'm super confused about why Ryu burnt down Aya's house in Kenji's route? Its very clear that it was Ryu, they said the suspect had pink hair and Ryu recently then asked where Aya lived. Now I'm just sitting here wondering why Ryu did that and why he'd do such a thing if nothing went on between him and Aya. Although, I do suspect it might've been Ryu's sister! I don't remember her name but I think it ended with 'eko' at the end or something.
Edit: I realized that your making a remake reading some of the comments! Its okay if your gonna save it for then but...will this question eventually be solved? Because I'm dying to hear the answer to it.

I'm happy you liked the game and... yup, I'll try to answer some questions in the remake (most of them in bonus stories when you complete a route, if possible)~
But for Ryu, in fact, I deliberately left a big question mark about if he did it or not. There is a canon answer, but I also wanted to keep the players in the doubt because they can actually think whatever they want. If it's really annoying not to know though and that I have more complaints about it, I might consider being more clear about this situation in the remake x)
